We were happy to welcome a new member to the group!  Tom Hancock has joined us and hopes to be a regular.

Stack Market    

We had to open with something quick and easy as we waited for folks to arrive.  Towers were built, towers tumbled and we made it through one round.  Dave wants to claim the victory, but that is just wrong.

Traders of Genoa

Unfortunately, as happens, we got a minor rule wrong.  It did not really affect the outcome as we played consistently throughout.  Apparently when you offer to pay to have the master move to a location, you get the action there as part of the bid.  We played you can offer money to move, but you bid on the square when the time comes.  We may have added a little length to the game but, nothing serious.  With Umar's late arrival, we abandoned a little early with Ted as the victor.

Thurn and Taxis

One table took this one on and the newcomer, Tom proved victorious as the most efficient mail route builder.

Thebes

The second table began digging and exhibiting.  Over time I think the luck worked itself out.  Ted managed to scarf a full set of the lecture tours which put him over the top for the win.

Boomtown

We closed the night out with this great bidding game.  I still really like this one.  It is so simple and works so well.  Ted was the superior miner.
