A holiday three player get together with James, Kris and Ted

Pecking Order

This is a new quick two player game from Immortal eyes. It plays fast enough and is cute for a filler.

Tikal

Kris has been asking for this one for some time. He owns the game but has never played. We will credit James with the win but, we did mess up a rule. One of those “guys, something is not right with this” things....oops.

Louis IV

Another request by Kris. This time I was the lucky one with the shields to pull off the victory from Kris in the end by 2 points. It was a very close game of intrigue in the court.

Incognito

We were joined by my daughter for a 4 player mystery in Vienna. James has been asking for this one. I made an error in my recording and had to start over mid-game. It was frustrating for me but, it was my own fault. Luckily, Kris and I found out we were partners and won the game just in time.....by one move.

Conquest of Pangea

Another new game from Immortal Eyes. This one did not work too well with 2 of us after Kris left. This one needs to have 3 or 4 I think and needs another play before it gets a good judgment. At its heart it is an area majority game with random events and action points.

Duel of Ages

James and I gave this one a go. Interesting idea that we tried with a one hour time limit. Not a whole lot of player interaction with us in that short time frame. It was a lot of going back and forth dealing with the oracles with the occasional pot shot. There would have been more destruction if the game had gone longer I think.
