Techno Witches

This was a quick warm up as we waited for people to arrive. Tony, Charlie and Ted took to their brooms to become the best flying racer. This still is a unique idea for me as you race with tails from the back of your broom. Sometimes you are very surprised where you end up. Charlie proved most adept at broom racing.

Parlay
This is an interesting word game poke variant.  You spell words and then decide to double score by staying in with a poker hand.  Of course, if you loose the poker hand, you get no points.

Helden & Zaubersauche

This is a fantasy adventure card game. In essence you are collecting cards and combating cards to increase your victory points. You send out your wizards to collect artifacts that will increase you power for future battles. And, you battle monsters to gain other artifacts and victory points. There are ways to fight alone and as a group. Since it was our first attempt at the game, it ran a little long and by the time we figured things out, it proved difficult to change your destiny. This one is a keeper though.
