Wow, what a big game session!  A new record for West Virginia with 10 gamers.  We were joined by Scott Tullis from Cincinnati and his two girls.  What a great session.

Railroad Block Party

A do it yourself tile laying game where you are racing to people to town hall trying to collect flowers and avoid beer and marijuana.  Scott apparently got a little too high and it was not contest and he was in the minus scores.

Kardinal

This was an abstract placement game.  I really like it.  I borrowed Craig Berg’s copy so much, he finally bought me one as a gift!  Thank you Craig.  This was a close fought match that ended in a tie.  I think I like it better with more players.

Reef Encounter

I have never played this game with two before.  This game lasted 20 minutes.  Scott scored every turn (just about) leaving me in the dust!  A clear victory of the race to finish first with quick points paid off....but, the game did not feel good to me.

Snorta

Next it was time to get the kids out of the pool and get them into the fast paced 8 player noise making game.  Scott managed to get out of cards first for the win.

Desperados

Had to play this western shoot out game again and Ted proved victorious.

Jericho

Three of us tried to build the ancient walls and mess over other players walls.  My trumpet proved to be the loudest for the victory.

King Solomon’s Mines

Two player digging for treasure in this three dimension tile game.  Scott proved best to dig the right treasures and avoid the curses for the win.

Timbuktu

We wanted to give this old DB Spiele game a go since the new Queen version is coming.  James and Amy ran into early robbers which decimated their camel loads early on.  I held on only loosing two items for the victory.  This one is cute.

Havoc

Six of us let slip the dogs of war.  We made it through about 5 skirmishes until a major rule snafu which caused us to abort....This was ok as two more gamers arrived.

John Silver

Pirating on the open seas.  Cute filler.  Brent had the best yo ho ho.

Freya’s Folly

Scott dominated this dwarf digging game and making the best jewelry

Sea Robber

Arrrg.  I shanghai’d every ones pirates to be the best swashbuckler on the 7 seas.

Wits and Wagers

A hands down win to Brent who nailed the last question with all his money.  We are not worthy!

Citadels

James took the win with the best built village.

Waz Baraz
This is a different deduction game where one player take two of 20 witches.  Other players need to identify the two witches by moving aroung a circle and slowly narrowing down the location.

On the other table they also played Union Pacific and Mykerinos.
