Age of Empires III

Kris had just gotten his advance copy with the parts for 6 players so, we gave it a run.  We had previously tried it with two players which was fun, but it really does need more players.  With 6 players and rules, we clocked in at 3 hours.  I am sure it would speed up with less players and more familiar players.  Kris took on the money building role, Travis took on the conquering of the new world role, I tried the discovery approach and everyone else seemed to diversify across the many strategies.  Charlie proved to have the best approach for the win.

Formula De Mini

Still with 6 we decided to try Formula De.  I recommended for time we try the Mini version.  Loaded with dice and chips, we were off.  Shortly around the third turn, Travis bit the big one going much to fast.  Second lap, Ted took the same fate....oh the cursed 20.  A couple of other racers fell out as well before the winner was declared.

Go West

With 4 of us left and it getting a little late, we decided to give this game a go.  It has gotten a bad rap since its release, but we all seemed to enjoy it just fine as a dry abstract.
