Two tables were in order again this evening.

Table one

Prototype

Another prototype by Brent was played with positive results

Himalaya

Well, actually, they played the original version that was printable from the web call Merchants.  It is basically the same game with a slightly different board layout.

Table Two

Medina

Ted grabbed the early meeple route to score some large points in many buildings.  The others fought over the largest building bonuses.  Travis managed to pull out the win at the last moment with some wall bonuses for a narrow win.

End of the Triumvirate

With three of us, Kris had been wanting to try this euro style war game.  Ted took an early election and was moving very quickly up the competency tracks.  All the while Travis was amassing armies.  In a swift move, Travis managed to wipe out four areas!!! to win with territory control.  A very gutsy and successful move.

Ave Caesar

Someone had to leave so we all combined to one table for an end of night closer.  James screamed out to an early lead and never really looked back until the very end of the game when, as he ran out of cards, had only 6s and had to wait on people to catch up.  When Dave passed James, James immediately jumped back into the lead only to find out he could never win only 2 spaces from the finish.  Dave cruised by for the win with the pack finally catching up.
