10/4/06
We started the Halloween gaming for the month of October with Tony, Charlie, James, Ted, Travis and David joined us late.
Betrayal House on the Hill
Well, we were brave enough to enter the house on the hill. James proved to be the weakest willed as he succumbed to the power of the house somewhat early and became some entity with tenticles. David arrived and we added him to the game in a random room only to have him die about two turns later. I was trapped in the basement and managed to hold off one of these insidious things for a few turns as Tony tried to come to my rescue. Unfortunately, James evil monster got to rolling 8 dice and became unstoppable. It was then only a matter of time. Noone walked out alive.
Horror House
This is a self print version of Atlantic Storm
with a horror theme. I think it does a great job and I acutally
think the theme works better than the original especially for
Halloween. There were many a monster fight by the explorers and
the end card came near the very end of the deck, making the game run a
bit too long. (note to self: take out a few more cards next
game) But, we had fun and stabbed each other in the back.
Tony proved to be the most successful.
