We proved 7 for a short time and then went to 6. Charlie, Tony, James, Travis O., David, Ted, Kris.
Eighth Air Force
David and I pulled this out waiting for folks...two more arrived and we
managed to get in one turn each of a four player dog fight as the crowd
filtered in so we abandoned the game to get into something else.
Trodeln
Still waiting for Charlie, we decided on something quick and easy.
This used to be a prison escape game that was rethemed to a kid
running to school game. Charlie managed to arrive right when it
was the last turn of the first round, so he jumped right in.
Students scrambled for the best seats.
Shadows over Camelot
With 7, this seemed like a logical choice as many had not played it
before. Times were tough in Camelot. Charlie (King Arthur)
was just one card away from Lancelot's armor quest when all the knights
were recalled to Camelot. This dealt a severe blow which allowed
the Dragon to come out. Kris headed over to deal with the holy
grail when two more evil grail cards came out ending that quest.
Then, the siege engines arrived. We did manage to take out
some pics and saxons and solve the lady of the lake but, it was looking
bad for us. With only two siege engines remaining to finish us
off, I accused David (correctly) of being the traitor. This was
enough to get us over the top with only one hole left for another siege
engine. It was a pretty close game.
Winner's Cirlce
Someone wanted a horse race and we played one lap only.
Fearsome Floors
Following the October halloween gaming, we had to race against a
monster to get out of the dungeon. This one went pretty fast as I
got two players out before the first run through the monster deck.
