I have always intended the Dumpster to be a sort of refuge for the fanatic game collector. While we carry translations to lots of the popular German games, I know there are a few of us who pick up the completely unknown games based on a whimsical attitude, and steady positive cash flow.
So, I have created the Island of Misfit Games. This will likely be the only static page on the website. The idea is that many of us see really obscure games that no one else has ever heard of. Often, the quality varies, and some have absolutely horrible gameplay. But they possess a certain something in the components, rules, and general feel that marks them as having been created in someones basement.
I will be adding to this list at the rate of about 1 per month, and will be adding pictures to most of the games. If anyone else would like to add a game to the island, please email me.
